Migraine Cure
Are there any natural migraine cure?

I get them a lot, and really bad. But I don't have health insurance, and over the counter medicine doesn't help. Are there natural supplements or exercises or anything that help?

Answer 1:
I feel for you. I'll be 70 in January and have only had one migraine in my life. My daughter gets them all the time. As a nurse,I can tell you the best way for me to never get another one is knowing the very first signs. They usually start in the same area every time. If you can learn to recognize that first twinge, take an aspirin or tylenol right away. Turn down all of the lights around you and if you can, rest quietly. Dont watch tv-or do anything else that will tax your eyesight. Do some research on teas and have them available. There are some that can help to calm you and not let the migraine take over. It will take a little while to gather together the things that work for you, but it beats having a migraine. The trick is taking the aspirin or tylenol at the very first sign. You may not have any pain at that point. The idea is to head the pain off before it can get worse.

Many people have had relief from migraine headaches by eating two teaspoons of honey at each meal. This will also prevent an attack in many people.

Answer 2:
Another effective means is to use natural apple cider vinegar . Equal parts of natural apple cider vinegar and water should be placed in a small pan on the stove, allowing it to boil slowly. When the fumes begin to rise from the pan, lean your head over it until the fumes are comfortably strong. Inhale for approximately 50 to 80 breaths. This generally alleviates the headache considerably, if not entirely.
